Wednesday experiences

In our second day at the school, we have gone through two main sessions.

After an introductory period with a group of dutch teachers who were being introduced to the internacional program that is being implemented at the school, the Home Economics departamentos has prepared a homemade scottish Lunch for all visitors. Pupils have cooked typical scottish dishes and desserts, and served them in a ver professional way. All of us have been very impressed by the quality of the food, as well as the by charming service.

In a later meetings with one of the school Head Teachers (Jefes de estudios), we have received detailed information about how the school is run on a daily basis, focusing on the main values all students must strive to follow, how to motivate the whole staff to conform to them, as well as the detailed plan the school is applying to achieve its objectives.

Many of their proposals and points of view are different to our own, but we have identified severa which could be applied in our own school.
